Outreach into the Lake Tahoe and San Francisco tourist destinations

Every mid-July over one hundred thousand visitors line the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, attend the Celebrity Golf Tournament, and hang out at the casinos. That's a great fishing hole for the souls of men. So Project Truth and the youth group of Galt Bible Church go fishing.

This year we created a fishing lure that would hopefully catch more fish. The tract was well-received and we gave out between three and four thousand. Below is the tract we hope will be used by the Holy Spirit to bring people to hearts of repentance.

People don't want to throw away a great photo of Tahoe and will keep it to read later. The teens also engaged people with the Gospel when the folks stopped to talk.

We also set up on the busiest street in Lake Tahoe.

Hannah got the attention of the scooter riders.

Our new Spanish brochures are a great success. People seem to really appreciate the message in their own language.

At the abortion centers, the Spanish brochure is really powerful for the potential to save babies

Many people have never talked to a pro-life advocate in person. They are ignorant concerning abortion because of the media and schools who peddle false information.

Thousands of cars pass by and are impacted by the reality that an abortion ends a child's life. Hannah and Tanya are warriors of the best kind. They practice the Word, "going into all the world."

The Galt Bible teens catch the people leaving the Golf Tournament, offering a creatively designed Gospel tract. You might note that their teens like plaid shirts, so I bring mine to blend in sometimes.

Sharing the Gospel on the streets often reveals the lonely people, searching people, or curious people, needing more than what the world of casinos offers.

It is always encouraging when someone thanks us for sharing Christ with the crowds.

I am always thankful for the Roper brothers who, as volunteer youth pastors, want their teens to practice their faith. Every summer we all look forward to the Tahoe outreach.

We are blessed with ministry supporters who open their summer homes, located in Lake Tahoe, for our lodging. Being together in the evenings for fellowship is essential and the Lord has provided generous Believers to respond.

Into the Belly of the Beast-San Francisco

This time Project Truth teamed up with the Tiny Heartbeats Ministry from the Northwest. Some on their team had never been to San Francisco. Above, Pam and Carol challenge a young man outside of Pier One in the heart of the Embarcadero. This is a great spot where many people come out from the skyscrapers to go to lunch at the Pier. Again, there are travelers from all over the world who are introduced to the truth. Some have never experienced free speech actions before and are surprised by our freedom.

We also set up in Fisherman's Wharf near Pier 39. That's a great outreach spot. This time we didn't have to compete with the walruses and seals barking. They must have taken the day off.

This young man came out of one of the towers just to talk with me.

The Scriptures were opened for this lost soul so she can find her way out of Sodom and Gomorrah.

The San Francisco PD have always been respectful. They have told those trying to remove us that our message and presence are legal and welcome in San Francisco. In forty years of street ministry in the City, I have always been protected by the SFPD.

One More Thought

Please pray for our college tour which begins in a few days. There is tension in the air and we are going each week into the lion's den to proclaim "Sin, Righteousness, and the Judgment John 16:8. We will present "The Way, the Truth, and the Life, Jesus Christ John 14:6."

Thank you for being our support team at these colleges. We are on the campuses from 9 am to 2:30 pm each day and at some high schools from 3 pm-4 pm.
