Hi All,
I hope all of you are healthy and safe!

There will be a conference call (REVISED to) Friday, 4/24 at 11 am for a discussion on what the Locals are doing during this time of Covid-19.  The board feels it's important to hear what others are doing....in their buildings and with their employees and tenants.

Jim Kleeman and Daniel Avery of New York BOMA will lead the call.

BAEs: please invite your leaders or your Emergency Preparedness Committee chair to join us on the call.
The call-in number is 800-944-8766 and the code, when prompted, is 1024198 . Please put this call in your own calendar as a reminder...and your member's calendar that will be calling in with you.
Please let me know if you will be calling in. I will keep an attendance sheet.
Thanks!

Stay safe and have a good weekend.

Service Spotlight
A little good news as Friday, April 17, 2020  comes to a close: the latest version (3.0) was just released of the DHS/CISA Essential Critical Infrastructure Worker Guidance, attached. Not only did our suggestions make it into the commercial facilities section, but it’s pretty much verbatim from BOMA International’s letter:

  • Workers supporting the operations of commercial buildings that are critical to safety, security, and the continuance of essential activities, such as on-site property managers, building engineers, security staff, fire safety directors, janitorial personnel, and service technicians (e.g., mechanical, HVAC, plumbers, electricians, and elevator).

We expect this DHS guidance document to continue to be an important reference point going forward. Many thanks again for all of your great work on the issue of essential personnel, we just synthesized all of your suggestions in developing the letter we submitted.

Hope all’s as well as possible, have a great weekend-
Ken
