The Tarboro Edgecombe Chamber of Commerce showcased the Duck Thru in Pinetops, NC on January 21st with a ribbon cutting ceremony! Duck Thru made a donation to the Town of Pinetops Fire Department for their help when installing the fuel tanks.

In 2018, Trax Coffee Bar opened in downtown Rocky Mount, NC in Station Square. Under new ownership with Marcus Anderson, exciting things will be happening soon at Trax Coffee Bar.
On January 30 at 4pm, the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 301 S. Church St. Rocky Mount, NC. There will also be a live performance from the new owner, Marcus Anderson!

We’re excited to announce Sara Lee Frozen Bakery in Tarboro, NC investing $19.8 million and creating 108 new jobs with their expansion! North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper joined us to celebrate this great job and investment announcement in Tarboro on January 13, 2020 at Sara Lee Frozen Bakery's facility.

NC DMV Moving to Rocky Mount

We have new family members in Rocky Mount with the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles!
The Carolinas Gateway Partnership and the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce are excited that Rocky Mount has been selected as the new location for the NC Division of Motor Vehicles headquarters. The division is planning to relocate by Summer 2020.

The Cooke Road Site is a multi-acre site is approximately less than five minutes from future Interstate 87/US Highway 64 via two interchanges. Being located on the western side of Nashville allows the opportunity for direct connections to and from the Raleigh/Triangle region.
In addition to the West Nashville Commerce Center, this area features smaller sized spec buildings anywhere from 5,000-20,000 sf.

RAMP EAST - Regional Advanced Manufacturing Pipeline for Eastern NC
|
RAMP East, Regional Advanced Manufacturing Pipeline for Eastern NC, is a regional workforce development partnership designed to connect job seekers to the necessary training and resources to be ready for the current jobs available in the region and the new jobs that will coming in the next 18 to 24 months.
This regional partnership is made up of economic development organizations, workforce development boards, community colleges, state and local government agencies, and community-based organizations. Stay tuned for more information!
