HOME SAFETY

The Woodway family has grown over the past two years - adding many children and grandchildren. We have expanded our KidCo line with child safety in mind. Not only do we sell the gates to surround the woodstove to keep the toddlers from burning themselves, there are gates for your stairways and doorways, outlet plug covers, door knob covers, sliding cabinet locks, and corner covers for sharp edges. We even sell the Pea Pod sleeping tents for toddlers.

At my house, as seen in the top picture, we've cordoned off the living room by using the KidCo extensions and gates to block both entrances, thus giving our granddaughter a safe space to play to her heart's content. We also have a KidCo gate surrounding our Kuma Applewood Cookstove. Other products that The Woodway stocks with home safety in mind include FireEx and Chimfex extinguishing products to use in case of a chimney fire. We have customers that come in and tell us how fortunate they were to have that on hand when they had a chimney fire, so everyone in our Hearth department has one or the other on hand, just in case!

The Woodway has brushes and rods for wood stoves and pellet stoves. We also stock chimney sweeping and dryer vent cleaning kits that can make your chores quick and easy with the use of your own drill. WRAPPING UP OCTOBER!

The Lopi Endeavor Nex-Gen Hybrid Woodstove is now on display in our showroom! (The Federal Tax Credit expires at the end of this year, so stop by and check this new stove out soon!) We've also installed the new Dielle Italian Pellet Stove in our showroom - you'll want to experience the heat in person on a chilly day! And, don't forget, there are just three days left to get the FREE HONDA PROTECTION PLAN - extending the warranty on all residential Honda Snow Blower purchases, from three years to six years.
