Congratulations to Anna Mason for graduating Magna cum Laude from East Carolina University. She received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Exercise Physiology. Anna has started working at Benchmark Physical Therapy, while she is applying to graduate school to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

BEGINNING JUNE 4th @ Southminster...
This summer we will invite you to join us on a journey through scripture. We will read 1 chapter per day, and the weekly messages in worship and our Bible study themes will come from the weekly readings. Bookmarks will be available on June 4th and readings will begin on June 5th, with a daily guide posted in the newsletter as well. We will read 1 Samuel, John, 1 Corinthians and Hebrews, giving us a comprehensive overview of the life and ministry of the King of Kings. NEW ACTIVITY!!! JOIN US SATURDAY @ 9:30AM!!!
Pickleball is great fun, fellowship and exercise for people of all ages. This Saturday morning, in the Southminster gym, Steve Kahn will lead a demonstration and introduction to the sport. Participants will have the chance to play and learn pickleball. We will have opportunities to continue to play going forward.

Art Camp will be June 19th through 22nd, from 9:00am–12:00pm and is open to rising 1st graders through seventh grade (rising 8th graders). REGISTRATION INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON! | |
Even if you cannot attend or volunteer, you can help make ART CAMP a success by donating the following items for various art projects:

Plastic lids: the size of Daisy Sour Cream or carry out soups

Material scraps: all colors and sizes

Tin Cans: either 16 oz vegetable cans or Progressive Soup cans (any can about that size)

Sewing accessories: or notions such as lace, rick-rack, binding, any decorative applications
