An academic bilingual community fostering global citizenship
Dear Park Spanish Immersion School Community:

We hope that this finds you well; it has been a busy week of learning! Our third grade student representatives helped organize “ Piedras Positivas ” (kindness rocks) for all of our students. Each child decorated a rock in Spanish to share kindness with others in our larger community.

We had an assembly on Tuesday to celebrate  Carnaval /Spirit Week. See below for more information. Let’s share our Park Pride tomorrow (Friday) by wearing orange and black or PSI/SLP attire! To enhance our SLP spirit, our PTO has purchased wristbands with the slogan “We all Belong—SLP Strong” for all students and staff, and they will be distributed tomorrow. The wristbands were designed by a group of SLPHS students in a Business Innovation class. At the Carnival, we will proudly display a large banner for community members to sign with the “We all Belong—SLP Strong” slogan. Please sign it!

On Wednesday, tied to our counseling program, we had our Career-A-Palooza (Career Fair). It was a great day for students to think about potential careers; we are grateful to the volunteers for teaching us about their professions. Please click  here  for pictures.

I hope to see you this Saturday at  Carnaval . Have a great week, and keep reading!

Sincerely, Corey Maslowski

Piedras Positivas - THANK YOU!
Parents - Thank you for helping and donating to the Piedras Positivas project. YOU made it possible. The students enjoyed painting the rocks with a special word and adding designs. We wouldn't have been able to do it without your time and generosity. Students will bring their rock home on Friday, March 8th. We look forward to students sharing the rocks and making other people happy. Thank you again, from the 3rd Grade Student Leadership Team.
