REG Madison, LLC, generously donated $5,000 to the DeForest Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce to help with funds as the Chamber fundraisers were cancelled this year.

Ribbon Cutting Tuesday, October 13th at 11am
Congratulations to the Village of Windsor Police Department on the Grand Opening of their new facility located at 6770 Depot Street in downtown Windsor!

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the new facility on Tuesday, October 13th at 11:00am.
Made In Wisconsin Luncheon
The Director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Christopher Krebs, will speak about cyber threats to business, COVID-19 & the election at the VIRTUAL Made in Wisconsin Luncheon, October 14th.

Each candidate will present opening and closing statements. A question-and-answer period will follow with prepared questions. Boy Scout Troop 35

The local Boy Scout Troop 35 in DeForest is having their annual wreath sale, and if you are looking to decorate your home or business for the holidays, the scouts would love to help provide you with beautiful natural decorations, made right here in Wisconsin! 
 
30% of all sales benefit the local troop directly, and there is a wide variety of items, from poinsettias to traditional wreaths to pots, in sizes to fit your specific needs.

Wreath orders are due in by October 16th; they will be delivered on or after November 17th. Payments can be made when the wreaths are delivered.

Due to COVID19 many of the DeForest Area High School DECA fundraising events have been cancelled. As a safe and new approach to regain some lost funds DECA students are partnering with the Bucky Book who for 28 years has helped hundreds of organizations raise money for their causes. The online, no-contact campaign can help DECA members continue their good work while keeping everyone safe.

Blood Drive : Tuesday, October 20th from 8:00am-1:00pm
DeForest Area High School is hosting a Community Blood Drive on October 20 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at Norway Grove Memorial Church, 820 River Road, DeForest.

Blood Drive: Friday, October 30th
from 1:00-6:00pm
Door Creek Church is partnering with the American Red Cross to help save lives on Friday, October 30th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at their DeForest Campus.
