Never Miss An Opportunity to Teach
Teachers in the sixth grade hall at Wood River Middle School used Halloween as an opportunity to have fun with language while celebrating the season. The staff donned costumes that illustrated an idiom or frequently used phrase with a meaning other than its literal translation. Understanding idioms can be a challenge for all of us at times, and especially if you are a second language learner.
