EXPLORATIONS INVESTIGATES 'THE DA VINCI CODE' STARTING NOV. 5
"The Da Vinci Code"! Jesus…Mary Magdalene…the Holy Grail…the Gospel of Philip…the "Last Supper". These and other topics of religion are touched upon in Dan Brown’s phenomenal 2003 best-seller. But how can one distinguish between what is "fact" and what is "fiction"? What did Dan Brown get "right"? And what did he get "wrong"?
In this seven-week thriller, each Explorer will have the opportunity to examine art, history, the New Testament, ancient texts…and more! Join us!
RSVP by Nov. 3 if you plan to attend this series
All Explorations presentations are held in the St. Francis parish hall:

JOIN SHEPHERD'S HANDS
Shepherd's Hands is a lay-led congregational care ministry that seeks to monitor and tend to the needs of our church parishioners in a neighborly way.

Current needs include:

  • Jane Crandall needs more “Church Buddies”. Add your name to our volunteer list to meet a van in the church handicap parking area and sit with her during the service. Sign up as your schedule allows.

  • Hettie Dorsey would love to come back to church services. Join her transportation team to pick her up at her apartment (on Lawndale, near church) and then drive her home after the service. Again, sign up as your schedule allows.

  • Pam Roberts, a past choir member who now lives at Pennyburn, will be returning to church on occasion. Pam uses a wheelchair. Volunteers are needed to meet her transport van and accompany her into the church, and then, at the conclusion of the service, assist her back to the van.

Contact us if you can help.

PROVIDE MEALS FOR EYC
