MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAN FERNANDO VALLEY CHAPTER-CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS

The following Directors, constituting at least a quorum of the Board, were present at the meeting:

The President called the meeting to order at 12:49 PM. The meeting adjourned at 2:37 PM.

The November meeting notes and minutes were approved. The January agenda was approved. All reports were approved as read and stated.

1. Various matters of chapter business were discussed and input was received from members of the Board. Committee updates included:
   

2. Motions
   1. a. A motion was made for Shawn LaRe’ to become diversity committee chair and update the role in addition to the role as past president. The motion was unanimously approved.
   2. b. A motion was made to update the job description for the Past President to include volunteer spotlight duties and the roles and responsibilities to include oversight and supervision of the SIG liaison and committee events; if the SIG Liaison position is vacant, the Past President will take on the duties and responsibilities of SIG liaison. The motion was unanimously approved.
   3. A motion was made to reimburse SLR for the CAMFT in Annual Conference in 2024. The motion was unanimously approved.
   4. c. A motion was made to update SFV CAMFT Membership levels to mirror the state CAMFT website thereby eliminating the Allied Professional level. The motion was unanimously approved.
