MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAN FERNANDO VALLEY CHAPTER-CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS

The President called the meeting to order at 12:03 PM. The meeting adjourned at 2:45 PM.

The January meeting notes and minutes were approved. The February agenda was approved. All reports were approved as read and stated. SLR left at 2:20pm.

1. Various matters of chapter business were discussed and input was received from members of the Board. Committee updates included:
   

2. Motions
   1. A motion was made to establish a protocol that once a year the chapter can hire a well- renowned speaker with an offer of $500 stipend. The motion was unanimously approved.
   2. A motion was made to accept the proposed budget as mentioned. The motion was unanimously approved.
   3. A motion was made to reimburse SLR for the CAMFT in Annual Conference in 2024. The motion was unanimously approved.
   4. A motion is to approve all four L&E in 2025 including: April 25, Child abuse and neglect, June 6, Mastering mandated elder and dependent reporting; Sep. 19 TBD; Nov. 14 TBD. The motion was unanimously approved.
