This session of School of Embroidery we will create a table runner piecing the blocks in the hoop, adding machine embroidery applique, then quilting using machine embroidery. We will begin piecing, table runner assembly and applique the first class, and quilting and binding the second class.

Cost is $35.00, attendees will provide their own fabric and have fabric pieces cut prior to first class. Stabilizer and batting options will be available: 20”x10yd roll Ultra Clean and Tear plus 3 10x15” sheets of Ultra Clean and Tear Plus $33.20, or 20”x10yd roll Ultra Clean and Tear Plus $78.95, batting 45”x27” additional $5.95

Embroidery machines with a 5x7” hoop are needed. All brands of machines are welcome and knowledge of your machines operation is necessary. For questions, email Debbie Bean. To sign up please call Sewing Machine Service at (425) 255-8673.

Fill in the Blank

Sewing Machine Service is offering Kimberbell’s monthly program “Fill in the BLANK”. Each month a new Fill in the BLANK only project and design for both sewing and machine embroidery options will be offered. With the purchase of the limited edition blank, you will receive the project instructions and designs at no additional cost. Price for blank kit will vary each month. The Fill in the BLANK program is open to all brands of machines and can be shipped.

The October Fill in the Blank design is as fresh as a crisp autumn breeze, with applique letters and darling dimension. Stitch a classic pumpkin of Orange Spice Velveteen, or choose to add the jack-o’-lantern face for Halloween! A layer of Flexi Foam gives just the right poofiness to the pumpkin, topped with a sparkling stem of brown Applique Glitter. Available for both sewing and machine embroidery.

Cost is $12.95 for set of 2 Dots and Stripes towels, project instructions for both embroidery and sewing version and designs. Fabric, stabilizer and thread not included.
