REMINDERS ON CAREGIVER SAFETY
All caregivers should clearly understand the limitations imposed on them (for their protection) with regard to lifting and safety, while charged with a caregiving position under the employ of Visiting Angels.
No caregiver shall dead-lift in excess of twenty five (25) pounds while performing home care services
Should a special request from client be made, all aspects of the particular issue must be brought to the Visiting Angels Agency Director prior to any agreement between caregiver and client.
Caregiver must notify Visiting Angels Case Manager of any and all unsafe observations made in the care recipient’s home.
Please make careful and safety conscious observations to ensure everyone’s safety.
