Introducing The Pulse, Our Redesigned Monthly Newsletter This year, our monthly newsletter turns twelve years old. We launched it in 2008 as a monthly way to fill you in on information relevant to your work with Visiting Angels. But it’s time for an overhaul. We haven’t redesigned the newsletter since its launch. That changes this year. We are adding our clients to Constant Contact and we are featuring articles that will be beneficial to both you and our clients. You will get our top stories, and we’re also including more images, client feedback, caregiver corner, events calendar - basically everything you need to know. We encourage you to read our monthly newsletter and contribute articles by sending an email to [email protected]. We thank all who joined our ‘Name the Newsletter Contest’ in December. After careful deliberation, we came up with The Pulse. Why THE PULSE? Simply because caring is the heartbeat of our culture. We care every day in every way.

We’ve Partnered With Home Care Pulse We are dedicated to providing our clients with the best in-home care services and we want to make sure they are satisfied. We are also dedicated to making our caregivers’ experience the best it can be. In order to help us accomplish this, we have hired the services of a third-party satisfaction research firm called Home Care Pulse to gather feedback from some of our caregivers and clients each month. Successful In-Service in Gaithersburg and Edgewater Locations

Congratulations to our Angels who have successfully completed the 1st Quarter In-service: Infection Control and Review of Company Policies last January 15, 2020. Our Clinical Supervisor, Mary Cerveny, emphasized the importance of following the rules. Simultaneous classroom sessions were held at both locations via Zoom. Classroom attendees will receive one hour pay on January 30 paycheck. Everyone is reminded that Quarterly In-service is mandatory A self-study via online and written quiz will satisfy the requirement. Please call our HR Coordinator, Elfy, for details.
