Ronnie Fehrenbach came to Home for Healing in 2017. Like so many of us involved with the Home, his family has been touched by cancer as well. As House Manager Ronnie sees to the day-to-day operations of the Home and interacts with the social work departments of the medical facilities to facilitate the accommodation plans for patients, parents, and families in need of housing. “A lot has changed since 2017,” Ronnie says. “We re-branded from Family Home to Home for Healing, made many improvements and continue to do so, expanded and developed plans for further growth in our services, and like the rest of the world weathered the COVID pandemic.”

Home For Healing is excited to announce our 2022 Heart of the Home Award recipient. This year Larry West of Larry West Jr Designs was chosen for his incredible generosity in improving the design of the interior of the Home and making it an even more inviting and functional space for our guests. Larry gave an enormous amount of his talent, time, and even furniture pieces to Home for Healing and he did it all with an upbeat kindness that made it an incredible experience. We look forward to honoring Larry as the Heart of the Home recipient at the 2022 Monster Bash!
