Ryan Walsh PE: Promotion to Project Manager

Ryan joined the firm in 2015 and his new role as a project manager assigns him the responsibility for the planning and delivery of structural engineering services for his current projects that include additions to St. Thomas More in Darien and ASML in Wilton.  
Jason Henion: Promotion to Senior Project Engineer

Jason recently passed the CT State Licensing examination and is now a CT Licensed Professional Engineer. His new role as Senior Project Engineer assigns him the primary responsibility for the structural engineering of educational, commercial, and residential projects including the Warren G. Harding School in Bridgeport and The Two Roads Brewery in Stratford. 
Tim Ma: Promotion to Project Engineer

Tim has been with the firm since 2016 and is promoted to Project Engineer. He has recently participated in the structural engineering and design of additions to Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY, White Plains Hospital in White Plains, NY and St. Andrews Church in Southbury..

  • Tom Curry PE: Successful completion of the 16-hour Structural Engineer (SE) exam.
  • Jason Henion PE: Successful completion of the 8-hour Professional Engineer (PE) exam.
  • Ryan Walsh completed the Hartford Marathon in October.
  • Tim Ma completed the Hartford Half-Marathon in October.
  • Jerry Feldmann and Nancy welcome their first grandchild, Rylee.


The TDEG Longknockers completed their second season in the local softball league with an improved record over their debut season. Congratulations to Chris, Jason, Ryan and Tom for notching their first win. Looking forward to the 2018 season. .

Eagle Hill School
Greenwich, CT
The Eagle Hill School project scope included the design of a new multi-purpose room, as well as structural renovations to the existing adjacent classroom building. Phase 2 of this project included Hardwick House, which houses over 250 students.

Riverview Cinemas and Playhouse
Southbury, CT
This multi-use project, with a footprint of 45,000 square feet, includes an eight-screen movie theater, retail space, residential apartments and a full basement. It's in a prime location along Main Street and adjacent to the Pomperaug River, providing easy access and river views.

Salem Golf Club
North Salem, NY
After experiencing dynamic growth, the Salem Golf Club has undergone many renovations in the past few years. This renovation included construction of a new pool house, approximately 3,300 square feet. The first floor of the pool house contains a gym, activity room, men's and women's locker rooms, a kitchen and a small outdoor dining area. A second floor houses two bedrooms, a bathroom, a golf simulator, open area and some attic storage for future use.

Millbrook Dining Hall
Millbrook, NY
As the existing dining hall was becoming too small for a growing enrollment, a new dining hall was necessary at this private school. The building is a one-story, 15,000 square foot building with seating for 400, a new kitchen, servery and faculty/staff apartment. Additional work included the demolition of existing one-story shed structures at the rear of Prum Hall, rebuilding its original first floor exterior wall and adding new entryways.

Grand Apartments
Bethel, CT
This new multi-family residence in Bethel is a three-story, 34,000 square foot wood-framed building with a total of 26 apartment units. This site was formerly a depot alongside an active railroad line and the foundation design was based on a thorough subsurface investigation program that addressed unsuitable fills previously placed throughout the site.

Rippowam Cisqua
Bedford, NY
Rippowam Cisqua School, a private school in Bedford, underwent renovations and expansion. Although most of the work was within the existing footprint, 35,8000 square feet is new space. The total square footage of the renovation and expansion is 88,420 square feet. The new construction included a design center, dining commons, science labs, classrooms, offices, kitchen, media center and faculty lounge.

Le Chateau
South Salem, NY
This popular venue was originally commissioned by J. P. Morgan in 1907 as a gift for his pastor. Today it is in use as a destination for weddings and other special events. The update and expansion of the building involved a two-story, 12,000 square foot addition to the existing building with a 6,000 square foot banquet hall.
