Hello Current and Incoming Aspen View Academy Families,
The AVA PTO is honored to serve the AVA Community! The PTO consists of 8 parent volunteers (PTO Officers). The mission of the PTO is to organize, communicate, and facilitate various activities and fundraisers that align with the school’s policies and mission and vision while providing positive interaction and/or fostering support among the AVA parents, teachers, staff, administration, and the surrounding community.
The primary focus of the PTO is fundraising for AVA; this year, all funds raised through our golf tournament will go 100% to support literacy needs and upgrading the AVA Library. Our upcoming 2nd Golf Tournament is right around the corner and will be held on Friday, May 3 at Plum Creek Golf Course. Last year’s tournament was so much fun; we are really looking forward to even more fun this year! Follow this

dinner! In addition to registering for the golf tournament, we also have sponsorship opportunities available. We love partnering with our families – view the

There is more! If you can’t attend the tournament on May 3 but would like to make a donation to support the Literacy and Library upgrades, you can make a
direct donation here.
All funds raised through our golf tournament will go 100% to support literacy needs and upgrading the AVA Library.

Governing Board Opening Update
The AVA Board will be hosting a public Q&A session on April 16th from 6 – 7pm in AVA cafeteria, and all parents and staff members are encouraged to attend. The Q&A session will provide the AVA community with the opportunity to learn more about each Board candidate in preparation for the election which will be held on April 24th and 25th.
The Board would like to thank both of our applicants, Shari Allen and Aaron Ellsworth, for their interest in serving on the AVA board.

Volunteers Needed for School Beautification Class
Mrs. Castleberry is looking for volunteers to help middle school students paint murals on the third floor. She needs volunteers during middle school "A days" from 2:15 -3:30. The class is planning to paint several murals and place positive quotes throughout the third floor. Please

Castle View 2019 Summer Athletic Youth Camp Schedule (Grades 1-9)
*All Camps are $85, unless otherwise noted

Homework Helpers Club
- What: Students (K-5 and 6-8) can seek help with their homework from a teacher. (This is not one-on-one tutoring, but it is a structured, academic environment in which to focus on homework completion.)
- When: Mondays and Wednesdays, March 25th – May 15th, all call-5 PM
- Where: K-5 Room 103; 6-8 Room 300
- Who: One teacher will facilitate each session. (An additional Teacher will be added if numbers exceed 13.) Student limit = 26 per session
Cost: $10/session
