What's Happening at St. Andrew

A Message from Pastor David: Dear all,

I have communicated my resignation as Transitional Pastor to the session effective April 30, 2025. I deeply appreciate and enjoy the ministry and community that we share here at Saint Andrew. I am, however, in a place of many transitions and challenges that require me to prepare for my next call and opportunities.

I am aware that the next six weeks will be busy with the Lenten and Easter services, and I will be available for all pastoral duties until the end of April. Thank you for your continued prayers and love. It has been a wonderful joy and blessing in my ministry and walk with God and God's beloved people.

Be blessed, keep the faith, and say your prayers.

Pastor David

Women's Bible Study will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, at 4:30 in the fellowship hall.

Thanks to your generosity and support, Saint Andrew collected 1,466 canned goods and non-perishable food items for Longview Community Ministries' Souper Bowl of Caring. Your donations will go a long way in helping those in need in our community.

CUMC packaged and delivered 150 food bags to One Love and 35 hygiene bags for CPS. Additional supplies were also delivered to Pine Tree Middle School for its counselors or nurses to distribute to needy students. Thank you, everyone, for your support, time, and donations, including Winterfield Methodist Church.

The Boy Scouts will host a Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 29, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Dine in or carry out – proceeds help the Boy Scouts purchase camping equipment! The cost is $12 per meal for adults and $8 for youth.

Join us this Sunday, March 30, for a worship service with Community United Methodist Church and a 5th Sunday Potluck Lunch. Bring a side dish or dessert to share, and the churches will provide fried chicken.

Come help us refresh the building on Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to noon in time for Easter! We're hosting an All-Church Workday and would love for you to join us!
