What's Happening at St. Andrew
Tuesday, January 6, 2026
| | During the recent cold spell, we partnered with One Love to shelter 11 homeless neighbors, providing warmth, four hot meals, games, movies, and fellowship. Generous donors—including Katie Estrada's family, Sonic, Mekka Bren, Susan King, Debbie Mahoney, and One Love—supplied meals and essentials, supplemented by $115 in church funds coordinated by Judy. Volunteers like Amanda Veasy and Steve Crane (who stayed overnight) kept things running smoothly; our guests were grateful, tidy, and helpful. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this ministry! | |

A Christmas card was received from the family of Sue Lynn and Charles Florio, who are both now deceased. We never had the opportunity to celebrate the lives of these members who had moved in recent years to be near family in Fort Worth. The card is posted on the church bulletin board. If you would like to drop a note to remember our friends Sue Lynn and Charles, please use the address below: The Florio Family, 1801 Carleton Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76107
Members traveled to Grand Saline to celebrate the life of former member Jolene Morgan, who passed away on December 6. The First United Methodist Church presented an amazing tribute to Jolene as dozens of quilts were laid across the backs of pews, representing the many she had sewn and gifted to family and friends. A copy of the bulletin is posted on the bulletin board. Cards may be sent to Jimmie Morgan, 3973 FM 1652, Grand Saline, TX 75140
