The "Too Close to Home" event, presented by VeraBank and the Women's Center of East Texas, is a free community gathering designed to unite against violence, scheduled for October 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Maude Cobb Convention Center. Featuring nationally renowned speakers, opportunities for continuing education hours, and additional activities. Registration is available by clicking here.

Reserve your Wednesday Night Live Dinner at 6 p.m. by clicking herethe menu features lasagna, side, salad, and beverage. The cost is $10 for adults, with reduced prices for children. Please RSVP by 11:30 p.m. on Monday by using the link above, signing up on our website, or at the worship service on Sunday.

Longview Community Ministries Touch-a-Truck event is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, at the Longview Mall.

On November 9, following Worship, a training session will be held to write an anti-racism policy for the session. All interested members of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and Community United Methodist Church are welcome to participate. To reserve your place and light lunch accommodations during the event, please email the church office at admin@standrew.pres 

We are continuing to collect books in the narthex for the book drive, which helps augment the bookshelves at local retirement centers and nursing homes. Thanks to your generosity, Rose Briggs and Sondra Allen delivered an impressive 165 books to these communities!

Join the ladies' crochet group every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Dawn Lo classroom! Organized by Kathy Loy post-COVID, this welcoming group invites members and friends. Beginners and experts, left- and right-handed crocheters alike, are all welcome. Free yarn and supplies provided. Come for fun, laughter, and fresh treats!

Alcoholics Anonymous meets at the church from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For further information, please call (903)235-7890.
