What's Happening at St. Andrew

The Budget, Finance & Stewardship Ministry Group will meet at 2:00 p.m. this Tuesday, October 1. All committees and ministry groups are requested to turn in their 2025 Budget Requests by that time. 

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. at Oil Horse Brewery for Theology on Tap! This month's topic is Politics, a timely and engaging subject sure to spark thoughtful conversation. Grab a drink, and bring a friend!

This Sunday, October 6, we will celebrate World Communion Sunday by worshiping with CUMC in the sanctuary. We invite you to wear international attire as we honor the global Christian community. During the service, we will also collect the Peace and Global Witness Special Offering.

Church officer training is scheduled on Tuesday, October 8, at 5 p.m. at Quita Russell's home.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 12, for the Third Annual Battle of the Bags at Gilmont. St. Andrew is sponsoring a cornhole team. Touch-a-Truck, Longview Community Ministries' fundraiser and family event, is on Saturday, Oct. 12. They are looking for volunteers; if you can help, please contact Lee Berger at 903-746-4463.

East Texas Literacy’s Scrabble with Friends tournament is on October 22 from 6-8:30 p.m. Saint Andrew is sponsoring a table of eight. If you want to compete, please get in touch with the church office to sign up.
