Partnership Spotlight - Elisabeth's Voice
We are highlighting ways that members from our churches are transforming their communities and the world. Today, we highlight Elizabeth's Voice.

Elizabeth's Voice is an organization co-founded by Amy Brewer, a member of Church at the Crossing in Aledo. Amy met her business partner, Evelyn, while working as a nurse in Uganda. They employ 32 single mothers and widows to sell their beautiful, handmade products. These women are bringing change to their community, having taken in 12 orphans and starting a hospital visitation ministry. You can learn more at www.elizabethsvoice.org.

Also, you can visit Elizabeth's Voice's new shop at 222 N. Main Street in Weatherford. Stop by to purchase some of their beautiful products. Follow this link for a brief video about this ministry - https://youtu.be/WbVQPQNPwyI.
Disaster Relief
Disaster relief volunteers from Parker Baptist Association joined others from around the region on Thursday, February 10 to assist with fire recovery. Fire destroyed a home in Fort Worth, and the homeowner did not have insurance. In six hours, DR volunteers had cleared the house of all debris, drywall, cabinets, and fixtures for the grateful homeowner. Volunteers prayed with the homeowner and assured her and her son of the love of Jesus in the midst of crisis.

Don’t Forget to Turn in Your 2020 Annual Church Profile by February 26, 2021
The importance of a church’s ACP is not to compare churches but see the growth each church has, and record that data on a yearly basis. As of this date the association has only received 10 ACP for 2020. If your church needs a hard copy to better equip the individuals filling out the report, please let us know. And if you are having difficulties entering the data online please bring the hard copy to the associational office for us to enter for you.

The Annual Church Profile for 2020 can be completed online. Here are the links:

For churches affiliated with Texas Baptists use: https://texasbaptists.force.com/acp.

For churches affiliated with the SBTC use: www.sbcworkspace.com

Due to COVID-19, we ask that you report attendance averages between October 1, 2019 and February 29, 2020. However, please report giving numbers for the whole year. If you have any questions please call Leah at the office at 817-599-6586.

It is terrible but true—sexual predators target churches. In the mind of a predator, a church offers a compelling target and, too often, an easy target. I recently worked my way through On Guard by Deepak Reju and learned that there are at least six reasons why sexual predators specifically target churches.

Endurance is a quality consistently found among great leaders. It is a sister to resilience, as the ability to “bounce back from a setback.” Endurance is the ability to just keep going regardless of the obstacles and pressure.
