The Alliance announced a partnership with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and Oakland County Prosecutor’s Officeto implement LEAD efforts in Oakland County. LEAD, which also stands for Let Everyone Advance With Dignity, is designed to provide care to people who have engaged in misdemeanor activity related to behavioral health issues or poverty and who usually have repeated contacts with law enforcement.
Calling all students grade 8th -11th to join us in Exploring Mental Health and the Power of Connection. Our youth dialogue day will be held on April 11th, 2025 from 8:30am - 1:30pm.
Our Annual Key Findings Report contains data from the 2023-2024 Oakland County Michigan Profile for Heathy Youth (MiPHY). We use this data to shed light on the issue of substance misuse among our youth.
Free 3 week programthat provides tools for navigating issues often faced by older adults. Participants learn to recognize signs of depression, anxiety, isolation and loneliness, and gain insights into behaviors linked to substance misuse.
Save A Life Stations
100+ Save A Life Stations throughout Oakland County contain free resources including nasal naloxone doses, fentanyl and xylazine testing strips, safe disposal kits and informational resources. Find a Save A Life Station near you,click here!
The Alliance provides SMART Recovery online, 7 days a week. SMART Recovery is a fresh approach to addiction recovery. SMART stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training.
Prevention coalitions are vital in Oakland County because they unite families, schools, and organizations to address substance misuse and mental health issues at the grassroot level. By combining resources and tailoring programs to community needs, these coalitions create safer, healthier environments and promote lasting wellness. We support them and encourage you to connect with one in your neighborhood.
