Hello,
During the fight against COVID-19, Doctors Care remains open. Serving those in need, including Medicaid and uninsured patients, and people at risk due to job loss, is our mission. Currently, the clinic cares for new babies and moms, fills prescriptions, sees sick patients with non-COVID-19 symptoms, and calms the fears of many. Through our triage line, we are fielding COVID-19 calls, and advising people on being tested.
Primary care like this is needed on a daily basis
for our patients, the community, and the
infrastructure of the health care system.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, well visits are being cancelled or rescheduled, providers order prescription refills via phone, and the American Dental Association suspended dental hygiene visits. The result - a quick drop in revenue by 50 percent, a trend we expect to continue. At the same time, we are quickly adapting to care via telehealth, which has added unforeseen costs.
Doctors Care intends to remain open. Our commitment is to provide health care, reduce unnecessary ER visits, and allow hospitals to focus on those inflicted with COVID-19. If you would like to support our efforts, and join the fight against COVID-19
donate here
, or send a check to Doctors Care, 609 W Littleton Blvd, Ste 100, Littleton, CO 80120.
