HSDA chapter wins first place in Orgullo video competition

The HSDA Chapter at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry recently competed and won first place in the annual Crest Oral-B Orgullo Competition held in New York City. The students produced and submitted a one-minute bilingual video that aimed to improve patient’s oral health.

Jaramillo serves as ROOTS SUMMIT scientific chairman

Professor David E. Jaramillo, DDS, served as the scientific chairman at the 2024 ROOTS SUMMIT in Athens, Greece. In his role, he organized the event’s lectures, reviewed all abstract submissions for posters and oral presentations, and moderated each session.
