2025 Santa's Trains

As we wrapped up 2025, the annual Santa’s trains celebration was a big success! We had over 70 event sponsors, 55 train car sponsors, 40 tree sponsors, and raised almost $30,000 to help support the park and continue to make this a place where people can come together in community, enjoy nature, and build lasting memories for years to come.

Below are some photos from the event!

Get to know Connor

Connor is the new Community Engagement Coordinator at Look Park! He has lived in Florence since he was five years old, and grew up coming to Look Park with family and friends. Connor graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2024 and went on to complete a year of post-graduate service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Cleveland, Ohio. In that year, he found a love for non-profit, community-oriented work. He is excited to bring his enthusiasm for building community and his work experience in fundraising and program coordination to Look Park. Here he will work to support the park and foster its growth - making sure it remains an enduring landmark for many years to come. Make sure to say Hi to Connor when you see him around the park!

“Look Park has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of the first memories I have are playing T-Ball, riding the train, and peddle boating in the park. Look Park instilled in me a love for nature and community. I'm extremely excited and grateful that I get to work to support the park that helped raise me. I look forward to seeing you all around the park soon!”

Join the Look Society!

Nearly 100 years ago, Mrs. Fannie Burr Look established this park as a living memorial to her husband, Frank Newhall Look, the distinguished President of the Florence Manufacturing Company. The Looks were visionaries who helped shape Florence Village through their leadership and philanthropy - leaving a profound mark on our community that continues to flourish to this day. The Look Society was founded in 2025 to enable community members to join in the mission of Look Park and support the 100-year-old vision of the Looks.

As a Look Society member, you'll join a distinguished group of individuals who understand the importance of protecting and enhancing this magnificent space. Your support directly contributes to our ongoing conservation efforts, sustainable forestry practices, and improvement of spaces and programs that share the park's beauty and history with visitors.

Look Society membership includes exclusive perks, such as:

• VIP access to private events and behind-the-scenes tours

• Dedicated priority parking within the park

• Personalized park concierge service for all your events and activities

• Exclusive Look Society newsletter and member-only events

• Special access to stewardship programs and historical presentations

Membership begins at a yearly contribution of $1,000. To learn more about the Look Society and how to become a member, visit our website at https://lookpark.org/ or reach out to our Community Engagement Coordinator, Connor Touhey, at ctouhey@lookpark.org.
