Upcoming Events
Please join us Thursday, May 10th for our Chamber luncheon/meeting . We meet at 11:30 at Wright Hennepin Electric in Rockford, with lunch and the meeting beginning at noon.

An invitation to join a community conversation about our school district ...
The task of this session is to:
A. Assess the state of the Rockford Area Schools; what the group feels is working well and what needs to be strengthened.
B. Identify meaningful, relevant and effective ways to…
… inform our whole community about the state of the schools and
… involve community members in identifying action priorities for the Rockford Area Schools.
C. Determine any role and activities for you to participate in our future.

Our meeting for community conversation will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 starting at 6:30 pm at the Rockford Middle School . The members of the School Board will welcome our participants, but will not participate in the discussion for the evening. A neutral consultant will serve as a facilitator and scribe for the group as they participate in an honest dialogue and decision-making.

Let us know if you are interested in participating in our first community conversation. Please contact Rockford Area Schools District Office at 763-477-9165 or email ehlersk@rockford.k12.mn.us with your RSVP and/or any questions you have.

Plan for delays, detour
Go to http://www.dot.state.mn.us/d3/2018/h55/ to see the road construction map from MN DOT. Begins mid-June - Motorists can plan for delays and roadwork on Highway 55 from Buffalo to Rockford in 2018.

On the map –
The orange color between Buffalo and Rockford – is a closed road to thru traffic. The 55 detour will be marked to go thru 25 in Buffalo, to 12 thru Delano and then back to Rockford on 92.
The purple circles are culvert replacements.
The green is periodic lane access closures.
