Coronavirus News
The Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center is working with local leaders to stay on top of developments related to CoVid-19. In addition to information from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and the WHO (World Health Organization), the Beatrice Community Hospital has created a Coronavirus Task Force to keep our patients, staff, and community, safe.
Physicians are the very heart of our mission to enhance patient-and-family-centered healthcare services.
Caring isn't merely their job, it's the mission to which they have dedicated their lives.
National Doctors' Day is celebrated every year on March 30th as a day to recognize the contribution of physicians to our patient and our community.
The Beatrice Community Hospital Foundation began our annual Doctors Day Campaign on March 1, with no understanding of where we would end up at the end of the month. Our healthcare landscape looks dramatically different than it did just a few months ago, and the 2020 National Doctors Day has turned out differently than we expected. This dramatic change, in the face of the global CoVid-19 pandemic, resulted in a flood of appreciation and care to support our physicians, who stand on the frontlines every day, putting our needs ahead of their own.
Last weekend we asked patients and community members to share words of encouragement for our local physicians...
“Thank you medical staff for keeping watch over all of us!”
“Thanks to all medical staff for the many hours you work to take care of us, while being away from your family. We appreciate everything you do and we are very proud of our hospital.”
Doctors and medical staff are crucial to healthcare everyday, and now, they are more important than ever.
Join us in showing our gratitude, and celebrate their dedication on National Doctors Day.
