As our Protected Tomorrows Parent University Class is focused this month on residential opportunities, it reminded me of the fear my parents faced when making the decision to give my sister Marcia the opportunity to live residentially away from them. I did not fully grasp the trepidation they felt. And I also did not share fully in her successes they celebrated either. I was her sister and I expected her to have the ups and downs of life. As I look back, I wish I had know the extent of those ups and downs. I have since learned from my own family as well as those of my clients. The search and the complexities of that is often overwhelming. I hope that the information we share in our class will give you a glimpse of clarity.
Also with Fall comes our search for ideas and the excitement of creating next year's curriculum for our 2025 Parent University. Stay tuned!
Finally, I haven't shared an update on my pups, Darby, Delaney, and Augie, like I used to do so often. I will close this message with our final boat ride with them as we close out our Summer. Even they enjoyed the end of Summer and the joy Fall is about to bring.
With warm wishes for a fabulous Fall,
Mary Anne
