We mourn the recent loss of a longstanding Carpenter and Assistant Superintendent, Duke Newlin. Duke has been part of Wurster Construction for over 22 years, until just recently retiring due to poor health. Duke worked primarily out at our Methodist Hospital office. He was our third longest-tenured employee. Please join the Wurster Family, Tammy, Kyle, and Cody in remembering his infectious smile and laugh.
Congratulations to Chris Savory!

She always has a special gift for birthdays, retirement, babies...I am pretty sure the place would fall apart without her. " Chris does an extortionary job creating a sense of community among the Wurster Team.

Mark Kozloski's Retirement
|
On July 16th, we celebrated the retirement of our dear friend and colleague, Mark Kozloski.
As a valued member of our Wurster Construction family, we would like to take the opportunity to thank Mark for his hard work and dedication for almost 20 years as our Controller. He always kept the books balanced and the team honest. We are already missing his booming voice and shuffle through the office. Mark truly lived out our core values of Honesty, Integrity, and Commitment. Employees like Mark make our work all the more rewarding and enjoyable.
Congratulations, Mark!

Farwell to our
Summer Interns!
| It has been a great summer with our interns, Mallory Lehmkuhler and Kai Byers! Both are Ball State students. Mallory is majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Construction Management and Kai is majoring in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration. Thank you both for all your hard work on-site and in the office. They gained great insights shadowing our estimating department through a busy bid season and got to see active projects from The LUME to Good Samaritan Hospital. We wish them nothing but the best as they continue their education and are proud of them for learning the Wurster Way! | |

Company Picnic
Our team had a blast at this year's annual company picnic! We also celebrated this year's retirees Ivanna Weyland and Mark Kozloski, both of whom have been a part of the Wurster Family for 20 years! Ivanna is set to retire this October following Mark's retirement in July. We welcomed our new Wurster Team Members, Gillian Mansfield, Nancy Mullens, and Ashton Burbich. Thank you to Ashton for taking over this year's planning for the event. It was a great time!
Thank you to all the families that made it to Greatimes! It was a fun day and we appreciate you sharing your weekend for an afternoon of fun with the team!
