If your organization grossed less than $50,000 in 2019, you must file your
990-N
online.
If your group's income was over $50,000 in 2019, you must file a 990. Normally, the 990 is due the 15th of the 5th month following your fiscal year end.
However, the IRS has extended the May 15th deadline, to July 15th so don't delay.
The IRS is also requiring that the long version of 990 and 990EZ be filed online. We can direct you to a resource for this. Remember failure to file can result in losing your exempt status. Late filing will result in a $20 per day penalty.
Please note, churches are not required to file a 990.
