Join us this week for our Sunday youth group Zoom call at 1pm. This week we'll talk about what frightens us and play a new choose your own adventure style game called 15 Monsters. We'll also let you know about ways you can plug into our upcoming service project and Saturdays of Service.
Our youth group is doing a collection for Family Promise this month. We are looking for Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Napkins, Kleenex, Tall Kitchen Garbage Bags, Sandwich Bags, Gallon Zip Bags, and plastic forks, spoons, and knives. Please bring your donations to your project site for Saturday’s of Service happening on October 17th. If you are unable to attend Saturday’s of Service, you may contact Maddy Hickerson at email@example.com to request your donation to be picked up Sunday, October 18th between 12pm-3pm by one of the youth. Please keep in mind physical distancing by placing your items in a bag and leaving it on your front porch for a youth to pick up. Thank you!"
We also encourage all youth group members to do mini drives of their own and bring any donations to the First UMC parking lot on Sunday Oct 18th.
New Email Address.
Open Door Staff are trying to have a more uniform email system. That means Jeff has a new email address. firstname.lastname@example.org. The old contacts will still work but Jeff is trying to migrate all church communication to the new account.
Food Bank Help
Trinity UMC is looking for volunteers to help at the food bank on Saturdays in October The shift is from 12:30-3pm. If you are interested let Jeff know and he can get you connected.
