  • Due to the changes announced by Kansas Governor Kelly (see link), we request that everyone wear a mask when worshiping onsite. Please note: children under 5 or people with breathing problems are exempt from the mask requirements mandated by Governor Kelly and the State of Kansas.

Children’s & Youth Sunday School, Wednesday Evenings, and Small Groups beginning soon!

We are thrilled to be starting a new school year! Through prayer and guidance from professionals, as well as your feedback through our survey, the Children & Youth Team have put together a plan to safely guide your students in growing in the faith and knowledge of Jesus. Please note, we have delayed the start of Sunday School and Wednesday evening, and Weekday small groups to Sunday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 23. An email was sent out last week with details of the Children’s and Youth Covid-19 Action Plan. You may find the links to the email, as well as the Action Plan (policies and procedures) below. We will be offering both in-person classes, as well as distance learning resources for families to grow in faith together at home. We ask every family who would like to participate in either in-person or receiving distance learning resources, to PLEASE register your children and the option you feel best fits your family’s needs. This will greatly help our planning, and will help us to be good stewards of our resources. The registration link is below.
Who needs prayer?
The short answer is, we all do. However, there are some big spaces in our lives that especially call for us to spend time in conversation with the Lord, asking Him to hear the needs of those around us and over us.

On September 26th, Paul and Lani Kirsch will be hosting a new corporate prayer group within Christ Lutheran Church. Some prayer “targets” will be:

·      The role of the Church in these troubled times
·      Praying for our own church and school
·      Families and communities
·      Local, state, national, and international issues

The group will meet virtually twice a month over Zoom at 9:00 am on Saturday mornings. Interested in joining? Email groups@clcop.org
NEW! Care Team Outreach has joined the digital age!
The telephone number 913-346-3454 will be utilized by the CLC Care Team to ensure we contact each household monthly. Every month, this number will text an encouraging message straight to your mobile phone! Also, you may save this number to your Contacts and submit prayer or care requests. Please note this does not replace the Care Messenger contacting you monthly or the Care Line. We look forward to serving you in this additional format.
Join us this Saturday morning at 9am for
a marriage morning retreat.

Healthy marriages don’t happen by accident. They require work and dedication, but with the busyness of life and the pressures of culture it’s easy to lose focus. What is marriage supposed to look like when those initial bursts of excitement give way to everyday troubles and routines? Click here to register!

Stewardship Prayer - A Cheerful Giver
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
