What's new at Body Yoga??

As we all head into this crazy time of year it can be tempting to get caught up in the busyness of it all and this is when our yoga practice becomes even more important. Keeping our practice consistent helps to keep us energised, balanced, relaxed and calm leading up to Christmas, so by the time Christmas day rolls around we still have the energy to enjoy it!

We will be sending out another newsletter in December with opening/closing dates through Christmas and into the New Year,  however it will be ‘business as usual’ right up until Christmas Eve.

November Workshops, Courses & Events!

Free Yoga this Saturday!

We will be offering FREE YOGA all day this Saturday 19th November to those people who haven't tried Yoga at our Body Yoga studio or for those regular students who  attend the same style/teacher each week and would like to sample  a different style/teacher.

Spaces are filling very fast so book @ reception to secure your spot, remember this is an opportunity to bring a friend OR attend a class you have not tried before at Body Yoga

Relax with Restorative YOGA with Anna
Create flow and ease during your Christmas preparations by surrendering to a sensory journey designed to create peace & deep relaxation.  You will be guided throughout restorative, relaxing and healing poses with the use of therapeutic oils to bring balance to your body, mind and spirit.

Body Yoga Retreat!

The Retreat venue is a beautiful renovated 3 level 1927 era guest house. This property is owned and operated by Veronica and her husband Steve who have bought this amazing building back to life, with cosy ‘breakaway’ seating areas around every corner for intimate groups to gather or large areas for bigger groups to meet, lovely open fire places, the bedrooms are fresh, clean and bright offering limited single rooms (when available with queen bed) or share with a queen or 2 singles) all with ensuites.  So why not leave the hustle and bustle of the city life behind for a few days and rejuvenate on our Body Yoga weekend retreat?

About the location and venue:
Hepburn Springs is a resort town in the middle of the largest concentration of mineral springs in Australia. After your vegetarian lunch… grown and prepared by local chef Gary from ‘Spade to Blade Catering’ feel free to take a very short walk to the natural springs, sample the mineral water and orientate yourself to the Bathhouse, if you’d like a treatment there during your stay it can be busy on weekends so its recommend that you pre-book for your treatments. There are also many other local masseurs and therapists around the area and the hosts at Conti will be able to advise you on them or organize them to come to you (again good idea to pre book) . Hepburn Springs is also located in the Wombat State Forest with many marked walks. A short drive or 40 minute walk takes you to Daylesford where there is an array of stores and cafes to explore. The Daylesford Lake is beautiful to walk around, as is the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens. Close to Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens is the Convent Gallery with three floors of artworks housed in a 19th century mansion.

COST: Own room with ensuite, (limited number available) $520.00pp
Share room, 2 people per room with ensuite (1 x queen bed OR 2 single beds) $390.00pp

INCLUDES: 2 night’s accommodation (all rooms have heating and ceiling fans, linen and towels and local aromatherapy toiletries provides) All delicious vegetarian meals/yummy healthy continental style breakfasts, yoga /meditation/nidra/relaxation sessions and talks.  Not included: Massages will be available at the venue, ‘Hammam’ Turkish steam room… seats 10! (newly completed at Continental House…so bring your bathers), Hepburn Springs Day Spa (book in early for treatments) only 5 minutes away. You may want to ‘linger longer’ to do this book directly with the venue.
