Students from Texas spend time in Roanoke
The LOA and Kissito PACE
hosted students from Texas Women's University for a week in March. They were participating in an Alternative Spring Break program and assisted both organizations.
During their time with LOA, they worked with both our Meals-on-Wheels program and our Diner's club program! They also made cards for the clients they visited.
During their time with PACE they threw a St. Patrick's Day party for residents, did health screenings at Melrose Towers and assisted transportation of clients.
We hated to see them go!
