UPCOMING EVENTS

  • 28 Dec 2019 Colorado All Service Academy Ball (CASAB) at The Broadmoor Resort. Invitations were mailed the first week of November. All Colorado Cadets and their families are invited. CPC covers the ticket fee for Senior CPC cadets. Please click HERE for more information.

  • 9 Feb 2020 Valentine's Goodie Bag Assembly Day. Please sign up HERE and join the fun! We can't do this without you!

  • 28 Feb 2020 Colorado Night This will be the 2nd year that our club has hosted a state night. We need lots of volunteers (you can reach out to our Colorado Night Committee Chair to volunteer). We are also still seeking donations for this event. You can easily donate online here.

Hello CPC families!

Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be grateful for this year and our amazing CPC volunteers top that list!

We are thankful for the friendships we've made as we work side by side with you on behalf of our Colorado cadets. We are always humbled by how much time many of you share with our club. We'd be remiss if we didn't recognize our tireless tailgate team for the amazing tailgates this year! Chef Jeff and Chef Mike raised the bar once again and it was great to see many new faces in the "kitchen!" Their reputation is widespread amongst the cadet squadrons and USAFA Security Forces and it's awesome that we can give back to those communities. Thanks to each and every one of you who brought food, helped with set-up and clean-up, and jumped in where needed each home game.

Thanks also to our numerous Goodie Bag volunteers who beat the snow storm on October 27th! Almost 1400 goodie bags were assembled and delivered to each squadron in record time so we could ensure our volunteers made it home safely. Donna Bajek and her team are AMAZING!

There are still many more opportunities for you to get involved with CPC. Please continue to share your time and talents with us:

  • 2nd Annual Colorado Night - this event will serve over 500 cadets and we can use your help now as planning is already underway. Please reach out via the link on the side bar to our Colorado Night Chairs, Jim and Nathalie Flannery

  • We need a 2022 or 2023 family to work along side Dan and Denise Bruder to coordinate the details for the Colorado Parents' Club End of Year Celebration. This fun event will be held in April and will honor our seniors and celebrate all that our club has done over the past year. Please reach out to the Bruders if you'd like to help!

Colorado All Service Academy Ball

Each year we have the unique opportunity to celebrate all of the amazing young men and women from Colorado who are currently attending a service academy. We hope to see many of you at the ball this year. More details can be found on the side bar.

As you can imagine, an event of this magnitude requires a lot of work by the multi-service academy committee, in addition to funding from various community sponsors. If you know of a community partner (perhaps your employer) who would be interested in helping support this event, please download the Sponsorship Flyer for more details. Likewise, please share Souvenir Program advertising opportunities with any friends, family, or community partners who may appreciate the opportunity to advertise their businesses at this event.

If you'd like to contribute door prizes for the cadets and midshipmen, please contact Marne Trujillo. We'd love your donations, big or small!
Colorado Cadets in Action
This is the place to see the great things our Colorado Cadets are doing!
We'd love to share the adventures and successes of our Colorado cadets with our members. Please send photos and details of your cadets living their best lives at USAFA to our co-presidents.

This month we'd like to focus on our Colorado Athletes...hope you enjoy the photos sent in of our Colorado athletes doing the sport they love!

If your cadet is involved in a USAFA Club or Extracurricular Activity (Choir/Theater, WOG/WOB, Sandhurst, Drum & Bugle Corps, Color Guard, Drill Team, etc.), please send us pictures of them doing their thing for future newsletters!
Colorado runners are setting records this year! Brothers Scott, 2021 (top left) and Ryan, 2023 (bottom left) Johnson have proven to be strong competitors on the men's cross country team. Ryan won Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year honors this year...a first for USAFA!

Meanwhile, Maria Mettler, 2021 (top right) helped the USAFA women qualify for the National Championships with a top ten finish at the regional meet!

Ashlyn Foster, 2023 (top/bottom left) is enjoying her first season on the USAFA Diving Team.
Brooke Bruder, 2021 (top/bottom right) is competing in her third year as a member of the USAFA Women's Gymnastics Team.
#72 Connor Vikupitz, 2020, is a force to be reckoned with this year! Cheer him and the rest of the Falcons on as they wrap up their winning season and prepare for college bowl season!
Heidi Liles, 2022, will be competing in her second season of USAFA Track and Field this winter and spring. Come out and catch her defying gravity in the pole vault!
Former Discovery Canyon High School athletes, Luke Trujillo, 2022 (above left) and Ryan Clancy, 2021 (above right) are competing for USAFA on the Golf and Rugby teams.
TAILGATE FUN!

Sadly, our tailgate season has come to a close. We hosted five tailgates this Fall and had record turnouts at each! Cold temps and late kickoffs couldn't keep our faithful CPC fans away!
