UPCOMING EVENTS

  • 27 Sept 2019: CPC Tailgate #2 3:00-5:00 (Kick off at 6:00) Our tailgates are some of the best, but we need your help! ​Please RSVP and sign up to volunteer.

  • 12 Oct 2019: CPC General Membership Meeting Join us at Arnold Hall from 10:30am-12:30pm for our Fall Meeting. By scheduling it on a game day, we're hoping to make it easier for our out of town members to participate!

  • 12 Oct 2019: Head from the general membership meeting to our tailgate site to help set-up for our 3rd tailgate as AF takes on Fresno State. Tailgate will be from 2-4 pm, with kick off at 5pm.

  • 22 Oct 2019: Deadine for Halloween Goodie Bag and 3-pack Goodie Bag orders. Place your order HERE.

  • 26 Oct 2019: CPC Tailgate #4 as AF takes on Utah State, TBD


  • 2 Nov 2019: Last CPC tailgate of the season as AF takes on Army! Tailgate 10:30am-12:30pm (kick off at 1:00pm)

  • 28 Dec 2019 Colorado All Service Academy Ball (CASAB) at The Broadmoor Resort. Invitations will be mailed in November, but click HERE for more information.


NEW CPC Nametag Design!

You may have noticed our new nametag design over parents weekend. All new CPC memberships will come with two of our newly designed nametags. Current CPC members can order new nametags, if they desire, directly on our website .

Both styles of nametags (new ones and old) will allow you access to the CPC Tailgate area.

Colorado All Service Academy Ball

Each year we have the unique opportunity to celebrate all of the amazing young men and women from Colorado who are currently attending a service academy. Invitations will be mailed out to all USAFA Colorado Cadets in November, but more details can be found in the flyer below.

As you can imagine, an event of this magnitude requires a lot of work by the multi-service academy committee, in addition to funding from various community sponsors. If you know of a community partner (perhaps your employer) who would be interested in helping support this event, please download the Sponsorship Flyer for more details. Likewise, please share Souvenir Program advertising opportunities with any friends, family, or community partners who may appreciate the opportunity to advertise their businesses at this event.

Hello CPC families!

Thanks to all of you who helped ensure our first tailgate of the year was a success! Weather was perfect, food was delicious and the company couldn't be beat! We look forward to seeing everyone at our next tailgate on FRIDAY, 27 Sept. Sign up information can be found in the side bar.

Parents' Weekend was a whirlwind, but hopefully you all enjoyed some time with your cadets and had an opportunity to connect with other USAFA families. The Parents' Information Fair was a very busy event, and our CPC had record Goodie Bag sales this year. Thank you so much to our amazing sustaining members who ensured our table was staffed so we could enjoy time with our sons and daughters. Speaking of goodie bags, It's not too late to place your 3-pack goodie bag orders (deadline is 22 Oct), so be sure to spread the word!

Many of your board members had a chance to attend a Parents' Club Conference hosted by USAFA just prior to Parents' Weekend activities kicking off. It was a great opportunity to meet senior leadership (there are a lot of new faces), network with other parent clubs, and receive a quick update on USAFA happenings. A few things we learned:

  • The recently opened Planetarium offers a wide variety of shows open to the general public. Take advantage of this newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility the next time you are on campus.
  • Renovations to Sijan Hall will begin in Fall of 2020--it will occur in phases and cadets will be shifted to Vandy as needed.
  • All current cadets will be issued the new OCP uniform (to replace the ABUs) in April and the wing will officially switch to that uniform in June 2020.
  • Class of 2021 will learn their AFSC selection spring of 2020
  • IT infrastructure upgrades are underway; cadets can bring their own device to class but there may still be sites/resources that can only be accessed through their issued laptops due to security

Looking ahead, we hope to see many of you at our Fall General Membership Meeting on Saturday, 12 Oct, prior to our tailgate and AF Football game. We are hosting this event on a game day as a result of feedback we've received from our members further away from USAFA. We would like all of our members to feel they have a voice and can participate, so hopefully this allows for greater membership participation and alleviates an extra drive to Colorado Springs.
