UPCOMING EVENTS

  • 6 August 2021: Acceptance Day Parade. Parents are allowed to attend this year as USAFA will be open to the public again starting 2 August. Please note the list of prohibited items

  • 30 August 2019: Parents' Weekend. In the upcoming weeks, you should be able to find a complete schedule of events at this link: Parents' Weekend.

  • 4 September 2021: CPC Tailgate #1 9:30-11:30 (sign up link will be on our website soon!) We tailgate in the cadet tailgate area, so you'll be able to visit your cadet's squadron tailgate, and your cadet can visit our tailgate!

  • 4 September 2021: USAFA vs. Lafayette Football game (kickoff at 12:30). The Colorado Parents' Club can purchase tickets for this game in Section L16 or M11. Click to purchase tickets using the following access info:

From the Co-Presidents
It's hard to believe the 2021-2022 academic year is just weeks away! I'm sure it's been a slow-moving few weeks for our 2025 families, but trust us, time flies by after the doolie year!

The start of the academic year also means tailgate season is almost here! CPC tailgates are a lot of fun for the entire family and a great way to get to know your fellow CPC members. We are the only parents' group that tailgates in the cadet tailgate area, and your CPC nametag will give you access to this cordoned area. We need a lot of volunteers to pull off our tailgates each week. Please consider getting involved on the tailgate committee. We look forward to tailgating with all of you soon! Check the side bar for more details.

We are still in need of some special volunteers to help us out. The Goodie Bag Committee needs a Volunteer Coordinator to coordinate the cadet POC's and the volunteers for assembly and delivery. Please contact our Goodie Bag Chair for more information or to volunteer.

We are also still in need of two Executive Board positions: Event Coordinator and Fund Raising Chair.

  • Fundraising Chair - In this capacity you'll be responsible for overseeing the Goodie Bag Chair(s) and any other club fundraising efforts. In addition, you'll be reaching out to our community partners to seek funds for some of our activities (Tailgates, Colorado Night, etc.) and track donations received throughout the year.

  • Event Coordinator - The Event Coordinator oversees volunteers and ensures that each of our CPC events has a Committee Chair. Overall, the Event Coordinator helps to make sure that each event runs smoothly.

All Colorado 2025 families are receiving the CPC monthly newsletter this month. In the future, it will only be sent to members of the Colorado Parents' Club. This is one of many benefits you receive as a CPC member. You can purchase your membership and review all membership benefits on our website. Remember, membership is a one-time fee and will cover all 4-years of your cadet's journey at USAFA.
