NOVEMBER 2023

From the Co-Presidents

Hello CPC families!

It is unbelievable to us that November is already here! We are so thankful for all of you and all of the amazing CPC volunteers! We have enjoyed making new friendships and working side by side with you many of you on behalf of our Colorado cadets.

Our Goodie Bag Assembly on October 29th was a great time of service and fellowship. Thank you so much to everyone that served to assemble and deliver over 1,600 goodie bags to each squadron. Lauralee Hitzler, Sherri Newell, Adrienne Baumert, Helly Duncan and the rest of the Goodie Bag team are AMAZING! Also, Vista Ridge JROTC was a tremendous help.

Please do not miss out on the fun and join us in February for our next assembly day!

Thanks to all who joined us for our semi-annual General Membership Meeting on October

7th . Our next planned meeting will be scheduled in April 2024. This meeting is for all of our members. It is a great time to come together and support each other!

We hope you are able to enjoy your upcoming family time and we wish you a very Happy

Thanksgiving!

Colorado All Service Academy Ball

December 29, 2023

This year's Colorado All Service Academy Ball (CASAB) is scheduled for Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Historic Antlers Hotel in Colorado Springs. This year's CASAB is hosted by the United States Naval Academy, and the theme is "From the Sea to the Stars".

Each year we have the unique opportunity to celebrate all of the amazing young men and women from Colorado who are currently attending a service academy. The celebration is open to all Colorado cadets and their families. It is a great opportunity to participate with your Cadet in a historic military function. In addition, CPC covers the cost for those C1C's that attend the ball. You should have received the special code to register your firstie. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions.

Steeped in military customs and traditions, the CASAB promotes military education, socialization, and camaraderie among Rocky Mountain Midshipmen and Cadets across all Services. The Ball includes the Posting of the Colors, POW/MIA Tribute, motivational speakers, dinner, dancing, and entertainment. Cadets/midshipmen classes will be recognized, and there will be multiple opportunities for guests to learn about the similarities and difference between the Five Services Academies.

Emailed Invitations have already been sent and be sure to join us for December 29!
