NaSean enrolled at The Pathway School in March of 2016 and has made significant progress both academically and socially. He is described as respectful, kind and considerate and always willing to help out when needed. NaSean was selected as one of six students across campus to represent Pathway as a student ambassador during the May 2018 FORE! the kids golf outing and felt confident in accepting the role of Corny Collins in the Pathway Players’ June performances of Hairspray . This was NaSean’s first experience as an actor and he took on a leading role! His portrayal of Corney Collins was electric and had audiences young and old laughing in the aisles. Mr. Prior said, “NaSean brought his fierce intelligence and unique brand of comedy to this role and we look forward to what else this remarkable young man has in store for our future productions.”

NaSean’s academic teachers report he has consistently shown hard work within his academic classes and toward his IEP goals. He displays a positive attitude toward himself, peers, and the school community. He meets expectations, demonstrates focus and if assignments are missed, he will independently choose to use his resource time to complete the assignments. NaSean has earned A’s and B’s in his academic courses and has an optimistic future in whatever industry he chooses to study and find employment.

Congratulations NaSean! Your diligence and commitment to learning has certainly paid off!
