All Saints Parish Annual Meeting, Sunday, February 2, 2024
We worship together at our combined 9:00am service, with the Meeting to follow with a Pot Lot Brunch in the Parish Hall (bring your favorite pot-luck dish)
Vestry Nominations
The Vestry Nomination Committee has recommended three parishioners to run for the upcoming vestry vacancies, and one appointee to fill a vacant position for a one year term, and thankfully they have all agreed to be on the ballot. All candidates are very active in various ways at the church and will bring their special talents to the current needs of All Saints.
The candidates are:

Candidate Bios
Katlin Bagdovitz
My name is Katlin Bagdovitz. I have been attending All Saints since the fall of 2022. I grew up in church and have always related my faith. I have been incredibly happy to call All Saints my home after searching for a church that would meet my needs as an adult. Since coming to All Saints I have participated in the Christmas Market, Calvert Arts festival, Episcopal 101, and have served as a worship Leader on Sundays. I also have many ties to the community including working as a teacher in the Sunderland area and working as a Unit Director at a local Girl Scout resident camp.
I am excited to be considered for the Vestry. I am excited to work with others on spreading the good news that All Saints has to offer and hope that others can find a home in All Saints, no matter who they are like it has for so many others.
Eileen Everhart
My name is Eileen Everhart and my husband, Dale and I moved to Dunkirk last September after living in Florida for 20 years. We were drawn to this church by its beautiful architecture but have remained for the warm and accepting attitude that we have found when interacting with the members.
Prior to All Saints, I began my journey of faith growing up in the Roman Catholic church. In previous churches of which I have been a member, I have been an active participant in children ministries, having served as both a Sunday school teacher and leader of Christian education. This participation in youth ministries brought me closer to realizing my relationship with God and understanding the importance of sharing my gifts with those around me.
I feel that the dynamic of All Saints is an ongoing journey to help our community and to share the message of love and acceptance with others and bring all people together in faith.
By acting as a worship leader, volunteering for Safe Nights and the Arts Festival, and opening my heart and mind to the Sacred Ground Program, I have just begun to share my skills. I am looking forward to making All Saints my home and becoming an integral part of this church family.
Elizabeth Myllenbeck
We moved to Chesapeake Beach in November 2021 from Alexandria Virginia. One day while we were out on a drive, we happened by All Saints Church, and as it was Episcopalian we were immediately intrigued. Rick scoped out the church first, and then I joined him shortly after. As a recovering Catholic, the Episcopal Church was the perfect place for me. After one service, I felt like I was at home and found a spiritual, loving environment that represents shared beliefs in every way.
I am very committed to multiple charitable groups that serve the needs of the community. I am on the board of Community Lodgings, Inc. in Alexandria, Virginia. CLI was first created by a group of Episcopal Churches in Northern Virginia that provide affordable, homeless, and victims of domestic violence housing. I am also on the board of the Old Town Festival of Speed and Style as the “Style” coordinator. Our High Octane Ball Gala is a fundraising event that supports two local charities. At All Saints I do the Coffee Hour every fifth Sunday, regularly cook for any special events, provide meals twice a year for Project Echo, participate in Campus Cleanup, am a kitchen elf for Gluhwein and Hot Chocolate for the Christmas Market and the Art Festival, as well as, bake for the ECW table. I have financially pledged to support All Saints. I am actively involved in C4 and work on the financial literacy team.
I am so blessed to find a church like All Saints that has welcomed me so freely and with love. I can openly share my gifts and make a difference in the community, deepen my spiritual quest, and continue to do great things. Being elected to the vestry would be a tremendous honor as I continue to integrate myself into the church, county, and spiritual community.
Jill Dowell
Greetings All…My name is Jill Dowell and our family has been attending All Saints Parish for over 100 years. My husband Chris and I have one son, Joshua, age 25.
Born and raised in Calvert’s farming community, we live on the family farm just minutes from Church on Dalrymple Road in Sunderland. I recently retired in 2021 where I worked 42 years in Retail Management. Since then, I have become more involved in the church through volunteering with the Outreach Commission, Calvert Art Fest, Safe Nights, and the Episcopal Church Women’s Committee. In June I was nominated and elected President of the ECW.
I would be honored to serve on our Vestry and continue serving God and our community through All Saint’s commitment and message that ALL are Loved, Respected, and Welcomed.
