Dears, this week we are settling our feet firmly on the ground of 2024, looking into a miraculously balanced budget--thank you, Kevin and Grace for all of your hard work--plus considering helpers like Bette Antor who have stepped into roles with great faithfulness.
Thank you, every one!
Sunday's music with Ron on Guitar and Esther on violin, warmed us up on a chilly day~we loved it, Brunswicks. And we are grateful.
Jennifer Garden is someone who often works behind the scenes to keep our sanctuary beautiful; that is especially so during this past season. Kevin Leninger climbs and even he has to stretch to put the banners in just the right place. Ben and Natalie set up communion plus fellowship hour; Esther added to the beautiful table.
See what I mean? So many people. Then of course there is Pat who provides the fresh loaf from the Model Bakery for our Communion. I must say, I eat more bread that day than any other day of the month.
We thank God for all of you who serve willingly and constantly. Right now we are anticipating--Dawn can outline some of it for you--improvements to our building that have long been in the works: a ramp for wheelchairs and a renovated sound system.
Maureen and I want to be sure we have a movie night soon: Babette's Feast. Which reminds me of our online streaming Team: are they great! We so appreciate you, Maureen, Ally and Norm.
So stay with us. Pray for all of those both seen and unseen that need your support day by day to be aware of needs in our community. And always, always be a good neighbor: you know how to do this,
Pastor Audrey Ward
