A Word From Our Food & Beverage Manager
* As colder months approaching, the Club is getting busier with Topside events. Parties have been booked for most of the weekends. We would like to remind everyone to contact the office if you would like to book an event in advance.

* We kindly ask that reservations are to be made for dining before the Club opens for service. Each member is allowed up to 4 guests at a time, unless approved by a manager prior to gathering. Parties of 20 and more are considered large enough for the Banquet room which may result in extra charges.
* Another successful month for the Club! Topside events kept us busy throughout October. Regardless of hurricane season, we were able to save all events during the power outage and our guests were very pleased and grateful. I would like to extend my gratitude to Neil Martin, Stewart Brenegar and Neil Rawles for their ability and willingness to help us out that weekend and turn a disastrous scenario into a profitable situation for WYCC.

* The Club will feature two major events in November, the Annual Oyster Roast and WYCC 60th Birthday Party. We really hope to see you all there!

* I'm very excited to have an opportunity to present our Club as a venue at the biggest Bridal Show of the year in VA Beach this month. It's a great start for the Club's exposure as a Bridal venue. We need this to get a chance to offer our Banquet space for weddings, receptions and ceremonies. This will help us to draw more profit from the Topside events and secure a successful year for WYCC.
A Word from our House Committee
I can't thank WYCC members enough for their support of the 21st Annual Oyster Roast. There are a few people I would like to thank for their help and hard work: Valerie, Chun, Laurie, Neil, Board members and all wait and kitchen staff. My Oyster Roast committee included: Kristin Sgambelluri, Kim Brandt, Judy Manning, Kim Blowe, June Barbrey, Anne Brenegar, LeighAnn Atkins and Stephanie Parks. Thank you all for all that you did to make this happen! Looking forward to having a great time. See you soon!

The Club will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22nd for Thanksgiving and will reopen the next day at a regular time for dining service.

Wine Tasting with Hank Foiles
Thanks to everyone who was able to attend our last event! What a great time! Not to mention, the biggest turn out yet!
Next Wine Tasting will take place Topside on Tuesday, November 20th at 7 pm . Please note - the price per tasting is now $25 (before taxes and gratuities). We are going to continue choosing a theme, and this time it's going to be Harvest Season Wines from all around the world.

Dear members, we ask that you please make your reservations promptly for this special event, as we can't always accommodate to last minute changes. Let us know if there's any cancellations immediately, so we can prepare accordingly.
