WRAPA LOT Specialty Filmz
Kevin Lash grew up in the Bay Area. Moving to Sacramento turn out to be a great decision for Kevin. Taking advantage of local resources provided by community centers, he was able to learn how to do screen printing and embroidering. Kevin was introduced to car wrapping at a trade show. He now has his own business (WRAPA LOT SPECIALTY FILMZ) which eventually lead to him working with GreenTech to wrap a few vehicles. WRAPA LOT SPECIALTY FILMZ does standard and commercial vehicle wraps, car window tints, paint protection, window decals, boat wraps, wall wraps and residential and commercial window films. Kevin is currently focused on gaining more business to be able to give back to the community.

  • $125 million;
  • Funding projects focusing on recycling of electronics batteries and battery-containing devices;
  • Increasing consumer participation in the recycling of batteries and battery-containing devices;
  • Concept Papers Due 8/17, Full applications due 11/29

EPA 2023 Clean School Bus (CSB) Grant Program
  • $400 million in competitive grant funding for zero-emission school buses, clean school buses, and EVSE.
  • Two grant categories: school district and Tribal applicants; and third-party applicants.
  • Priority given to replace buses serving high-need local education agencies, rural areas, Tribal school districts and public school districts receiving basic support payments for students living on Tribal land, and rural areas. 
  • At least 40% of the funding will go to disadvantaged communities.
  • Grant deadline: Tuesday, August 22.

GM EV Production Drops
GM has stopped EV production in their Ontario, Canada plant and significantly slowed EV production one of their Detroit plants. Some reports indicate the slow-downs are due to battery shortages and other reports indicate sales have dropped.
