OAL Approves ACF Regulation
The California Office of Administrative Law approved the Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation (ACF) on September 29. The ACF is effective October 1, 2023.

US DOE Announces 10 States $22M, California $2M
The US DOE has awarded $22M to 10 states to make smart manufacturing and high-performance computing accessible to small- and medium-sized manufacturers. California was awarded $2M.

CARB Solicitation for Adult Education & Vocational School ZEV Technology Training
  • Develop new or strengthen existing workforce training and development programs
  • Increase awareness of Zero-Emission Vehicle training, education, and jobs
  • Projects must benefit a California-based, accredited, non-profit adult education or vocational school
  • Programs should focus on working with and enrolling students from priority populations
  • All work must be completed March 31, 2026

Cummins NG Engine in Hyliion's ERX Truck Meets CARB NZEV Standard
CARB has approved the Hyliion Hypertruck ERX under their very stringent Near Zero-Emission Vehicle (NZEV) standard under both the ACT and ACF Regulations. The truck appears to be a IH Cascadia with a Dana eAxle and a battery pack that can also be DC Fast Charged.
