8/24- The 2020 Green Technology Summit and Expo
  • has been rescheduled to August 24-26 due to coronavirus.
  • Originally scheduled for April 13 – 15.
  • Sac Clean Cities Coalition Stakeholders qualify for a registration discount if they use SACCC30. This year’s event will be combined with the US EPA’s West Coast Collaborative Partner’s Meeting, and will include fleet focused sessions on recruiting, training and keeping technicians, regulatory policies, renewable fuels including renewable hydrogen, and the future of mobility.

Tesla will introduce a totally new way to deliver a car…”Touchless.” The new car will be parked at a delivery parking lot. The buyer will use an app on their phone to unlock their new car, sign the paperwork that is inside, drop it in a dropbox and drive away, untouched by a dealer!

In-Road Inductive Charging
In-road inductive charging for heavy-duty trucks has taken a step forward. Grid-connected rubber-wrapped copper coils from ElecReon in Israel were embedded three inches deep in a 164 foot section of highway on the Swedish island of Gotland with trucks passing over at 18mph. Higher speed tests with higher charging energy are coming.
