10/23 - Mayors' Climate Commission
  • The Mayors of Sacramento and West Sacramento will be conducting their fifth public Mayors’ Climate Commission meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 4:00 - 7:30 pm at the CalSTRS Boardroom in West Sacramento.

1/22 - Renewable Gas 360
  • The Renewable Gas 360 (formerly Rethink Methane) conference will be held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento. Topics will include building markets for dead trees to reduce wildfire risk, building markets for renewable hydrogen, reducing short-lived climate pollutants, managing overburdened landfills and methane capture.

4/13 - Green Technology Summit and Expo
  • The 2020 Green Technology Summit and Expo will be held in the Tacoma Convention Center on April 13 – 15. This year’s event will be combined with the US EPA’s West Coast Collaborative Partner’s Meeting, and will include fleet focused sessions on technician training, regulatory policies, vehicle, engine and fuel technology developments, and the future of mobility.

Motiv Power Systems has received a $60M investment from GMAG Holdings. Motiv is a Ford certified “Qualified Vehicle Modifier” (QVM) building Class 4 through Class 7 battery electric trucks on Ford chassis capable of accepting any vocational truck & bus body engineered for the Ford F450, F53 or F59.

Tesla Model Y Preview
Tesla expects to begin selling their new Model Y Crossover in Q3 of 2020. It is rumored that they will build it at their Fremont plant with four trim grades: Standard Range, Long Range, Dual Motor All Wheel Drive, and Dual Motor AWD Performance. The trim grands will vary in EV range from 230 miles to 300 miles, and from $48K to $61K in price.

Ford Electric SUV Charging Locations
As Ford prepares their Mustang-inspired SUV plug-in hybrid for the market, they have announced that buyers will have 12,000 charging locations available on a complimentary basis for two years, including Greenlots (from Shell) and Electrify America (from Volkswagen).
