Bolt Fire Risk Recommendations: GM has the following recommendations for Bolt owners that they say will reduce the risk of the vehicles having a spontaneous battery fire:
- Keep the car charged to only 90%.
- Avoid depleting the battery below a range of at least 70 miles.
