Lion Electric and Boivin Evolution Release The World's First All Electric waste Collection Truck

Sacramento Clean Cities sponsor Lion Electric has worked with Boivin Évolution to introduce the first fully electric automated side loader refuse truck. Built on the Lion8 cab/chassis, this refuse truck has a 400km (250 mile) range, effectively serving 1,200 homes per day on a single charge. All the items that use hydraulics on a conventional refuse truck - electric arms, packing rams and body tilt rams, are replaced with electric systems.

Introduce the Electrified Ford Super Duty F-550

Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition sponsor Motive Power Systems has introduced an electric F550 with the Dana eS9000 electrified axle, and has begun delivery a Type C school bus on the Ford F59 chassis with a body built by Starcraft Bus and sold by Creative Bus Sales.

Tesoro has been fined $1.36M for misreporting 1.9B gallons of fuel in California. Between 2011 and 2016, Tesoro incorrectly classified fuels relative to their Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) status.
