Municipal Fleet Academy Training Program

California Community Colleges' "Advanced Transportation and Logistics" has given special recognition to the Municipal Fleet Academy training program, and to Clean Cities partner American River College (ARC), and Clean Cities Board member Craig Weckman. The Academy was produced by partners NorCal MEMA, PEMA, Sacramento Clean Cities, ARC, and NAFA.
These same partners are producing the NorCal Clean Tech conference for fleet manager training on October 15, 16, & 17 at McClellan Conference Center.

New EV Conversions Approach
|
|
Electric GT, a Southern California startup, has developed a unique approach to EV conversions: build 100% of the EV drivetrain, minus only the battery pack, into a configuration that exactly matches the size and shape of the IC engine that comes out. It's like a "Crate Engine." Electric GT uses laser measuring to create a unit that perfectly matches the geometry of the engine that came out, so the pre-packaged system drops into the engine compartment and bolts up to the existing mounts, speeding and simplifying the conversion.

Hyundai and Kia have invested in the European 350kW charger network, along with BMW, Daimler, Ford, and VW. At this charging level, EVs are able to have an 800v on-board power system.
